Developer & Emerging Game Designer
Hello! I’m Elijah Erickson, a developer and second-semester student at Ridgewater College,
where I’m pursuing two A.A.S. degrees in Computer Programming and Web Development.
I build small but purposeful software from Python utilities to responsive front-end designs,
and I’m currently developing an original video game while also studying Spanish, German,
and music composition.
Although I’m still early in my journey, I move quickly. Over the past two years,
I’ve learned Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, deepened my understanding of computer
hardware and software, and applied those skills to real projects and prototypes.
I focus on writing clean, reliable code and continuously improving through practice
and feedback.
My short-term goals are to complete my degrees, publish my game on Steam,
and transfer to a four-year university to study Software Engineering.
In the long term, I hope to combine my passion for computers and foreign
languages to become a computational linguist bridging technology and human communication.
